Skype Friday the 13th 6pm-What happens if you cannot interview someone?

In this Skype we spoke about the process of interview and other data collection methods. 
Some important points I have taken away from this discussion: 
-Do not think that the people you interview will give you answers. 
-This research process is not about finding answers it is about the process. 
-When planning for analysis in module 2 you cannot predict what data you are going to obtain so expect the unexpected. -Take the scenic route if you just walk in a straight line through a field you miss out what might be in all the corners of the field.

We were all very critically reflective in this discussion and it was a very interesting and fruitful Skype session :)

    Hi Kate-Anne,
    I also found this skype really useful with listening to the module 3 students and what they had found out about the research. The analogy of the field really helped me realise that life isn't about going in one straight line from A to B- think of everything we would miss! It really got my mind thinking...
